Luke, Resus and Cleo have decided that the only way to preserve the integrity of Scream Street is to close the portal they worked so hard to open to keep the “normals” from coming through on tour. As a result they must return all of the relics they collected to open the portal. The first they attempt to return is the fang from Count Negatov, and they must travel through dangerous, troll filled terrain to do it. This series is an excellent choice as a “gentle” horror story for younger students interested in something scary. The book is filled with dark humor, and just enough of the creepy factor to satisfy reluctant readers.
Recommended for students who want something scary, but aren’t quite ready for Goosebumps.
