My first Django Wexler novel and I was not disappointed. Great world building, kickass main characters, action, adventure, romance and magic galore. Can't wait for the next book in the series.

Review of whole series: one of the best I've read. Django Wexler is always great, first Thousand Names and now this. The most underrated author in fantasy IMO. Reminds me why I read the genre. Popcorn reading I guess, lots of intense highs and lows, never forgetting its purpose is to be fun.
