I was really in love with the anime and so I wanted to read the manga because it continues past the first season, but I’m honestly disappointed. I feel like the anime does a really good job of building up Zen and Shirayuki’s relationship.
And also building up how Obi feels about Shirayuki.
everything just feel so fast paced in the manga. I’m not really finding that excitement I had in the anime for their relationship.
It also felt SO random that Obi was like “what would be the point in pursuing her”. Like in the anime (from what I remember) they have interactions that built up to him saying that line. But it felt so random in vol. 2.
I know that if I hadn’t watched the anime I’d probably drop this series, but because I already know their connection I’ll probably continue to get passed where the anime ends.
