Overall a good book

Then why the two stars. It felt like it moved to fast. What would be considered the good parts were quick but I know what the inside of their house looks like.

I liked characters. I think I would have liked them more if I got a chance to know them more.

Would read the author again. Editing was good.

I am giving this 3.5 stars *for what it is!!** It is a spicy, easy read, romance. I'll give it 3 spices, because I wouldn't want to read it with my mother, but I wasn't gasping at the raunchiness. It was a cute story, a football star and his bookish best friend turned lover. A little bit of the miscommunication trope which I don't enjoy, but overall a good little read.

My "icks" - vanilla scented perfume, words that didn't seem like words until I looked them up (not in a good way), putting a 5-carat engagement ring in a plate of eggs
