It all went wrong so fast! What should be a great premise for a story, did not turn out the way I had expected it, which might be why I'm only giving it 1 star. What I can say with assurance is, "Forgotten" leaves a LOT of questions waiting to be answered.
Huh? I've read this?
Well, I guess the title is fitting, as I've forgotten everything that happened. I only barely remember enjoying this, but it certainly didn't leave any lasting impressions.

I can't get over how blown away I've been by this year's debuts. So freaking good. Actual review to come.
emotional
mysterious
medium-paced
Fast paced & engaging but full of plot holes, melodramatic twists and an unsatisfying ending.
Once again a book with a super cool premise turns out to be little more than a dull romance. The guy is perfect (rich, impossibly handsome and kind) and the main character's "issue" (the fact that she has no memories) is not a problem in this idyllic relationship. I skimmed the last half of the book just to see if anything besides happy dates ever happen between London and Luke. [Spoiler alert] They do have a fight about the fact that Luke met her as a child and he didn't tell her, but that was no big surprise; I suspected as much because anyone with half a brain would notice London repeating herself and clue in that she doesn't remember everything. London's reaction to this reveal is way overblown. Of course, they soon make up.
The big reason this book didn't engage me is because London remembers things from the future that worry her, but never dangerous things that could affect her present. It's just stuff that makes her sad. It's her friends' hearts being broken. And yeah, broken hearts suck, but they're not nail-biting, oh-my-gosh-what
s-going-to-happen-next stakes. Even the mystery about her dad/family is pretty ho-hum.
In summary, the premise of this book is intriguing, but the execution is meh.

Me hubiera gustado que hubiese escrito una continuación u.u
