This was such a fun, fast paced and enjoyable reads. I loved the MC and how she was absolutely determined to show that she was equal to everyone else at the academy. I heart broke her at so many times especially because of a certain character who was just a misogynistic person. I think it was important to have this ‘villain’ character as it shows very real life situations on how men can think they are better than women and then physically and sexual abuse them to prove it.

I adored the character of Rafe and the Tallis brothers too. I think the MC and Rafe were my favourites. However Elara was also such an enjoyable character to read about.

this had my attention from start to finish 🤩
this was such a fun story

I loved reading from everyone's point of view, not just the main female character's
I loved how diverse the campus students were, no two students backgrounds were the same, not even the campus brothers people keep lumping together as one
the ending has me excited for the next book in the series

Definitely recommended 👌🏾

I found this to be very interesting especially with this being my first mermaid shifter fantasy romance book. I loved that Calliope is trying to break down the gender roles in this world. I got nervous that this book would have the love interests to be her bully’s, but so far it seems to not be a bully romance (I hope). I can’t wait to learn what happens in the next two books.
