Honestly loved this way more than I thought I would! Straik wasn't my fav in the first book - I was going to just skip this book and wait for the 4th but then the second book introduced some plot points and I also realised that the 4th book has a time jump so I read this book! I should have known I wouldn't skip a book in a series lol.
It's good as! A bit of a weird plot pacing but I kind of love that. Also adore how Ruth's story is linking into the broader mystery/ plot of the series.
