🥰Enjoyment: This book reminded me how much I DOOOO love accidental pregnancy. I feel like it’s become pretty trendy the last few years to hate on it, but you know what? I love it. I really enjoyed this story. It was my second by Maggie Gates and honestly I need to prioritize listening to more of her works. (I imagine when I do I’ll find stories for some of the vast network of side characters and I hope I do! I love when you get to see old fave couples in new books)
📢Narration: Nikki Grey and Alex Knox were on narration, and I think Nikki is new to me. They both did a great job and I definitely recommend the audio.

This was my first Maggie Gates book and I will tell you it will absolutely not be my last. I adored Logan and Leah's story... they both had insecurities to work through, both together and separately and they came out stronger together in the end.
We all know I am a sucker for an accidental pregnancy and I really loved how Maggie portrayed this from the beginning to end. There were many emotional moments which truly brought the characters to life with their insecurities and worries and just all in all, made them feel like real people with real problems.
This book is the true definition of "it's always been you" and I am just SAT.
Narration: I recently first listened to Alex Knox and he's just a great voice actor, all around. He did such a great job as Logan and I couldn't imagine any one else doing a better job! This was my first audio with Nikki Grey and it most certainly will not be the last. She does such a great job and I need more of her in my ears, stat.
Tropes:
accidental pregnancy
one night stand
best friend’s brother
it’s always been you
small town
found family

This was such a sweet story. I really loved Logan and Leah and their little Bumblebee. Both of these characters had such heartbreaking backstories; Logan with his imprisoned parents and Leah with her self righteous ones, both sets completely awful in their own ways.
It actually lended to a found family type story, despite the fact the found family is still blood. Logan's family was amazing (so much so I'll be researching to see if Christine and Will's story is available too because ohmygosh did I love them). They were such a highlight of this book even when Kylie was being a butt.
The ending was so good, especially the epilogue. Everything wrapped up so perfectly.
The audio was great. I really loved Nikki Gray and Alex Knox and thought they did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.
