This was a return to characters introduced in the Beaufort Poker Club series with Kristin’s younger brother Logan. I really loved Logan and Leah together. Logan put so much pressure on himself to be perfect and not like his parents that he wasn’t living life. Leah getting pregnant after their one night stand was a blessing in disguise.

I loved how Logan changed his way of thinking about spending money, and just accepting that life didn’t have to be lonely and minimalist. He was really good for Leah once he got over the shock of the pregnancy. I loved that they actually communicated with one another, something that isn’t in a lot of romance books.

It was nice seeing the poker club all grown up and seeing them with kids. This was a cozy low angst book that I really enjoyed.

I loved this book. I accidentally did this backwards, so I read this book first and fell in love with the found family and was so interested in the poker club. Logan was such a complex character, but you couldn't help but love him, because you realized he just wanted to do Will and Kristin, and then Leah and the baby. I loved these two from the beginning, but I fell even more in love with them as I read the book. I was so happy when we got protective Logan and Leah was too! There are so many sweet parts to this book that I loved reading every minute of it! Also the baby's name was everything and more!!

A very sweet read but too sweet for my liking. Nothing really happened the entirety of the book.
