Sweet, spicy, funny and emotional all at the same times. The classic Maggie Gates emotional rollercoaster. I loved Logan in the Poker Club series wand I was so happy to see he was getting his own story! Leah is as so amazing, I loved that her character was so incredibly real. She went through things, especially in her pregnancy journey, that a lot of women go through. I lost count of the amount of times I cried during this book! It was so amazing in every single way đŸ„°đŸ„° Maggie did it again with the most relatable and amazing book. This book really was like going home.

I could not put this book down!! This one had so many of my favorite tropes, but it was even better than I had hoped. Logan and Leah go way back as Leah is Logan’s younger sister’s best friend. But of course, these two have been secretly pining for each other for AGES.

One fateful night after his sister’s wedding, they finally agree to give in to their fantasies. One night. That was all it was supposed to be. Until Leah finds out she’s pregnant. But Leah doesn’t want to mess up Logan’s life, knowing he likes to lead a simple life and has mostly stayed away from home from the moment he could leave.

But the moment Logan learns Leah is pregnant with his baby, oh my goodness!!! It may have been a little shock at first, but when he decides to go all in, that man does NOT disappoint.

I absolute loved how Maggie brought these two together and how they were exactly what each other needed. The character growth they both experienced throughout this book was fantastic and they were just so cute together!!!

I loved this one so much! Thank you to The Author Agency and Maggie for the ARC!

4.75⭐ I picked up this book because I love the Griffith’s brothers series having not read the Beaufort Poker Club series. I am read to tell you it didn’t matter, Maggie does a great job introducing everyone and you need to read this! I read it in less than 24hrs. Now I need to drop everything and go read the entire series.

I love Logan that man is the perfect grump with a tender heart will do anything for her. I love everything about Leah. She is perfect for him and deserves someone who is 100% there for her.

“We’re a team,” he said as if it was the most natural thing in the world. “Where you go, I go.” That might as well have been ‘I love you.’ â™„

Thank you to The Author Agency and the author Maggie Gates for the advanced reading copy, all my opinions are my own.

Oh. My. Heart. This book was absolutely adorable! Logan and the unexpected twist in his life had me hooked from the start. The story is packed with swoon-worthy moments, emotional depth, and just the right amount of drama to keep things interesting.

I loved the way gestational diabetes and C-section representation were woven into the story—real, relatable, and handled with so much care. It made the journey feel all the more authentic. And let’s talk about the romance—sweet, heartfelt, and impossible not to root for.

If you love small-town romance, best-friend’s-brother vibes, and a touch of second chances, this is a must-read! 💕

THIS WAS SOO GOOD!!

I loved being back in the Poker Club family and getting to see the gang back together!
Getting to hear Logan’s story and seeing how much growth he had

He was the best partner for Leah and loved her so well, he was such a golden retriever, acts of service man and I loved it so much

Read this in one day!!

It was so great to be back in Beaumont! The Poker Club was my first Maggie experience and I was hooked, so when I found out she was writing another book in this world with all of my favorite characters I was ALL IN!

Logan and Leah have known each other their whole lives, but as his sister’s BFF, he knew he could never have a chance.  Until the night of said sister’s wedding, when drinks were consumed, conversations were flowing and a connection was made  that sent their lives into a direction they could never have imagined.

With grace and honesty Maggie has written these two and made them real, exposed their flaws and insecurities, to forge an even stronger bond.  Watching how these two fall is what we all dream about and why we read romance.  I know it’s why I read Maggie’s books.  Just read this one, it’s too good to miss!
