Super sweet romance. Loved that she was the bodyguard instead of him. I fell in love with Jack’s family, and found the romance to be really realistic. The classic “third act romance book conflict” also wasn’t from the usual miscommunication trope, which I appreciated.

I actually really loved this story and it was such a fun read!!! The chemistry between the characters felt natural and I loved that they truly understood a different side of each other - it’s really beautiful.

A cute read, with plenty of emotional beats, and lots of trauma. The characters never go to therapy even though they desperately need it, which is a pet peeve of mine. And I don’t think the lovebirds really spent enough time together to be in love. More like friends who could try dating. Loads of content warnings on this one, as well.
