Really loved the overall message in the story about learning to love yourself, acceptance, and forgiveness. The characters are so loveable and the dialogue is quick witted and hilarious. The book blurb didn't hint at all about the loss Hannah would experience at the start so it sets a different slow pace at the start but after the first couple chapters you pick up the pace and drama. Have to say it was off-putting at the start of the book because it felt like you were forced to dive in and care about characters without knowing who and why we should care about them. In the end, the Stapletons make up for so much with their love, all is forgiven. My first time reading a Katherine Center book and I loved it.

P.s. Bobby and Taylor suck!

I listened to this on Audible a couple years ago and I really loved it. I've been feeling like I've been in a little bit of a rut as far as my reading and listening goes, so I decided to redownload this one and it absolutely lived up to the memory. I was kicking my feet and giggling while I was supposed to be doing the dishes or folding my laundry.

If there's no spice in a book, it has to be incredible to keep my attention and this was absolutely that for me. If you're looking for a cute book with great protagonists, a chef's kiss terrible pseudo villain ex-boyfriend, fun action, and a heart melting MMC, this is the book for you.
