I really enjoyed this, it was super cute
Some of the romance was kinda predictable, but I loved how it wasn't just about them being 4 gay besties, it was also a coming of age book
Well done

This book was unbearably American. I’m glad I listened to it for free.

As someone who is about to start college this book was for me. The author picked the perfect time in a persons life to write about. A period of growth and having to come to terms with the fact your life is changing and he showed all those emotions perfectly.
I loved the characters flaws and how they try to balance their taste of new life with the old.
A must read for people about to go to college and wanting to see their emotions represented.

I was a little disappointed when I found out this was about high schoolers but I gave it a try and here I am, touched and writing this review while listening to the sequel.

A lovely exploration of high school friendships and their changing dynamics as kids age and begin spreading their wings but how true friendship endures still.

A really fun summer read. A few twists towards the end but overall a happy ending.

This one's been on my to-read list for a while, and it was kind of exactly what I was expecting: a cute, easy summer read. I liked the different storylines it followed and how there were some parallels you could draw between each boy's struggles. The epilogue felt pretty rushed though - I had been waiting the whole book to see everyone get to meet up again, and it was just narrated... oh well. Still cute overall.
