This book is very slow to get where it's going but it ends with two surprises. One was a little predictable, but still good, and the other was mind blowing. For this I'm moving to the next in the series.

Quite the story. All the horrors of a prison and the healer who works in the infirmary. It was a good representation of self- harm and loss. I enjoyed the twists.
