it was kind of annoying how judgey both mcs were towards each other, but once they got

when i started this series, i didn’t expect to always be on edge with anger while reading. that’s not the energy i need. apart from lack of knowledge on how to describe a black person other than “dark” and “brown,” it’s a good story, but i can’t. RANT:

sunny pisses me off because she’s inserting herself into an unstable situation that needs consistency. something that she can’t guarantee because they aren’t in a relationship. her only job is to decorate rooms but she inserted herself into his and those boys’ lives. THEN! the fucking social worker is preaching about stability but threatening to take the boys away at every turn! a group home sis?! how tf is that stable? plus at their age, the chances of them getting adopted is slim to none (statistically speaking) she they’ll jump from home to home and maybe get taken advantage of by someone looking for a check! (former social worker here)

owwwww im so mad. so yea, i won’t finish this series. they’re hitting me way too hard.
