The MMC is a fucking annoying whiny bitch. Supposedly he’s a therapist but also can’t use his words? I couldn’t stand the 3rd act miscommunication. He’s supposed to be this brainiac who is a miracle worker, and apparently patients only trust him, yadda yadda. His lack of communication with FMC wasn’t believable.

I like this story a little bit more than the first book. I particularly loved the boys. I enjoyed the enemies to lovers trope. The scene where Sunny’s mom finds Darryl in her apartment was funny. I am not a big fan of miscommunication that goes on for far too long. Especially from a psychologist
