Just read the series. It's a lovely break from traditional SciFi and from the world for a bit.

The end of something. What a ride. I will never forget my time with Ish.

Beautiful. I admire the grace and touching rightness of the ending. I already miss this series, yet find the conclusion increasingly satisfying the more I think about it.

This series really grabbed me. The lifestyle of spacers has a very military feel and the concept of loneliness that can come from only knowing people or short time is written really well. It's hard to put into words everything I felt while reading but if you have ever moved a lot growing up or just felt you've spent a lot of life missing out on friends, or potential loved ones, I feel this series will be great for you.

Owner's Share is a wonderful conclusion to this series. Taking the journey with Ishmael in Trader's Tales has been a very enjoyable experience. This final book in the series is much longer than earlier ones and I was happy it was. One suggestion I'd make is to read the books in the Trader's Tales series in order beginning with Quarter Share. There is more here than a space shoot 'em up.

This is the last of the Trader's Tales of Ishmael Horatio Wang, and it's the only one that contained real danger. Ishmael acquires a ship of his own, with a catch. He has to employ and "train" the daughter of his previous employer. But it turns out someone really wants them to fail and even die.
As usual, this is a well told tale. Worthy of many re-reads. I really wish I could look forward to more books about Ishmael.

I had a bad feeling at the direction I thought the story was taking at the beginning of the book. I was right about the bad feeling, but wrong about all of the reasons I thought that Ishmael was damning himself. Instead, I had a heart-wrenching and heart-felt wrap-up of the series. Nothing quite happened the way that I anticipated and two events near the end made me gasp with shivers up my spine. Hell, the thing that he does at the very end still moves me. Fantastic job!
