I really wanted to like this. It's an easy read. I liked the first one. It has everything I want: millennial references, feminism, LGBTQ rep, POC as MC, witchy shit, mystery, spice, so why don't I like it? I didn't care about the characters and wasn't invested in the story. I probably won't try anymore from this series.

3.25⭐️ Nothing too special. Personally I liked the 1st book better. Plot wise it read pretty much the same, but the first book was sapphic and this wasnt... I didnt rally like the MMC here either. He was bothering me so bad with his victim complex and he reminded me of someone I cant stand but maybe thats a personal issue. If the next book is sapphic i'll consider reading it, but the world and the families are so confusing if you wait too long between them. Meh.
