Fun and romantic; I enjoyed the world-building in this book. Not overly smutty, but a very smoldering and vulnerable love story. Will keep reading the series.

I love a good witchy book and this one had just the right amount of dark and thrilling plot twists to make it an enchanting read!! The romance was also a great addition and I loved where the plot went in this sequel to paybacks a witch!! i can’t wait to see what happens in the next book!!

I’ll be honest, I thought this was one of the other series when I picked this up so was a bit dissappointed that the bizarrely aged teens are back, this time wishing they ran a fashion emporium (but not really, because this is very obviously added to give the bland heroine something memorable to define her). Still at the complicated twenty something cocktails, none of which sound very nice. Bleh.

Man you KNOW a book is good when it gets you genuinely invested in a straight couple. A straight couple! Of all things!
No for real, Lana Harper's witty, poetic writing is as effervescent and personality-filled as ever, the familial connections are just as strong as they were in "Payback's a Witch," and I absolutely adored both Isadora and Rowan, separately as well as together. The climax definitely could've been longer and weightier and the whole haunted house plotline/last-minute conflict was wholly unnecessary, but I had a wonderful time with the second entry of this series.
