Oh I actually really liked the mystery and action in this book. I liked Emmy and Talia’s romance so much I read this book for them and while I didn’t feel as strongly about Isidora and Rowan’s romance, the action of the book really drew me in.

HOLY HECK. I loved this book. Perfect for fall and Halloween. It is a sequel with even more dynamic characters. It is the second book in the Witches of Thistle Grove series. I loved this series from the beginning, but this book was on a different level. I loved the main character duo dynamic. Isa and Rowan have everything you could want, they are from VERY different witching families. Their powers are at odds with each other. They can't stand each other. There is a lot of fighting and power dynamic changes in the town. people are trying to reshape the flow of power and revenue in the town to benefit more people equally. Oh, and there is murder. WITCH DETECTIVES PEOPLE. Rowan and Isa are teamed up to work together for a common goal. Truly is there anything better? Enemies to lovers with mutual stakes in the game. Do they fall for each other? Can they figure out who is cursing the Thorn magic line? All is revealed and it was EPIC. I am fully supporting this book.
