Th am you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC. I enjoyed returning to Thistle Grove and reading more about the Avramovs and Thorns. Great sequel.

I'm quickly becoming a fan of Lana Harper books.

This was a fun trip through the witchy paranormal. Some serious spells are being thrown about, when something terrible occurs. Enemies have to work together to figure out who is trying to kill witches, and how they will stop them. Of course, Issa and Rowan can't hold back the attraction they have for each other, and the inevitable happens.

This was a spicy wonderful ride through love and mystery. I really loved the pacing and the paranormal lore that was used throughout the story. Another great story by Lana Harper.
Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

Nowhere near as good as the first. In the original, the characters, including secondary ones, were more fully fleshed out and enjoyable. It set up following ones as they tried to change the town for the better.

Sadly, the author decided to switch to a new pair for romance. Rowan, from the first one, and Isabella, one of Talia's sisters, are paired to investigate a magical attack on another woman. It's too simplistic and trite, as are the characters.
