While I thought this book was super cute, towards the end it seems like the conflicts between the characters and families were solved way too easily. Also leave Talia alone why was she possessed AGAIN possess someone else!

This second book in the series took me quite a while to get into. I'm not sure if it was the characters or just the fact that it took a while to get to the central conflict, but once I settled in (about 15% of the way through) I thoroughly enjoyed it. Isadora and Rowan have a perfect enemies to lovers romance story. I greatly appreciated their open lines of communication and the fact that we never had to suffer through any miscommunication tropes. The twist was well placed and definitely kept my interest. And, as always I appreciated the happily ever after! And, as always I appreciated the happily ever after!

This book was decently entertaining. I did like the “who-done-it” aspects even though it felt like some of the witnesses pointing to other witnesses felt a little extended and unnecessary. I also thought the development of the romance was interesting even if it was cheesy or predictable at times. Overall, I think this was an interesting continuation of the series, and I’m curious to see where it is headed next.
