A more satisfying villain than book one, with an enjoyable enemies-to-lovers arc. I give the book 3 stars for the plot, 2 eye rolls for the infuriating rivalry among the families, and 7 eggplants for all the times hanky panky was interrupted by plot developments. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🙄🙄🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆🍆

this book was actually good especially bc i figured out the big bad before the big reveal — love when books make me feel smart lmaooooo.

also I KNEW, i just KNEW that issa was a leo !!! and she really tried to pull one over me for a second there but literally everything ab her was raging leo so ofc THATS what she was djfjdjsksk— i also loved rowan, like way more than in the previous book which i didn’t think would be possible so wow. he’s veryyy…. delectable. i kinda might be in love w him lol. and this book made me love Talia and Elena even more — like THEYRE MY FAMILY NOW 🥹🫶🏽

um yeah, this book was really fun. a very slow and kinda dull start but once it got going it was hard to put down so i’m not complaining! other than that my only issue is plsssss stop using the word “deadass” bc it’s used wrong every time 😭😭😭 some of the other modern speak is kinda messy but it works whereas that word is just always used wrong and it’s ridiculous 😭😭😭 but yeah, super fun book and i’m excited to pick up the next one!
