Though I'm not much into romantasy I definitely loved this book as it focuses more on the fantasy and less on the romance. Absolutely loved Silver! Can't wait for the next book (and will reread this one again when it comes out).

I could feel and understand how trapped Mancella felt and Silver, how he wanted a better life for his friends and himself. I wonder if series will continue to follow Mancella and Silver’s story or will another character will be come the main focus.

Really enjoyed the second half of this book but found the first half to be incredibly slow. The magic system was very interesting and would have loved to learn more about the citadel.
