Some of the poems here took me a while to grasp what it's about but overall I enjoyed reading the collection.

I feel like my soul was parched and this collection refreshed me. The imagery was beautiful and the theme was consistent. I can’t wait to see more of this author’s work.

Though there were some really good poems in there (I particularly liked "open season" and "women like me"), it just didn't work for me. Maybe another time!

I haven't read a poetry book in a while, I forgot how beautiful they can be. I felt all of the sadness the author endured as a child, and all the beauty she regained during their self-love journey. I can not wait to read more by this author, and add more poetry to my tbr.

This was a sweet little poetry collection in the same sort of Free Verse style as Rupi Kaur that I love.
These are fairly romancy/lovey-dovey poems but they aren't mushy if that makes sense. There weren't many pieces that made me emotional or stood out to me (I highlighted less than I expected to) but overall I enjoyed these and felt I was in the author's head for a while, and that's really all poetry needs to do. For someone who isn't overly romantic nor cares about having a relationship, I was impressed.
