13 year old Lorenzo is very on his own, and lies to his parents that he is going on a ski-vacation with his friends, but all the time he lives/survives in the basement of their appartment building. There he learns to know his half-sister Olivia. Touching, but too much things happen that are unrealistic.

I couldn’t possibly hate this book more.

the main character was insufferable and i consider reading his journey a form of self harm.

STOP TALKING ABOUT YOUR SISTER’S BOOBS AND MAKING IT VERY CLEAR YOU WISH YOU COULD BE WITH HER.
i don’t give a flying fuck that they’re technically half-siblings and she hasn’t really been a part of his life, it’s disgusting and he should be put behind bars.

i truly wish him the worst, put me in a room with him and only one of us will come out.
