This is a ripoff!
1 page of text, which is the mediocre story, and 45 pages of illustrations.

A short, illustrated story about slowing down, taking a break, and nurturing our souls. The art is gorgeous and I loved the message!

The story reads almost like a modern day folktale where a man discovered the speed at which he has lived his life has cost him to lost his soul. He decides to practice stillness until his soul has the chance to catch up. The tale is simple, the illustrations by Joanna Concejo are stunning, and the printed book has heavy pages that make the reading experience extremely satisfactory!

A nice short story, if unsubtle. Beautiful illustrations.

“The souls know they’ve lost their owners, but most people don’t realize that they’ve lost their own souls.”
