What a wonderful little story about the rush of our modern lives and the toll it can take. This took around five minutes to read, but I'm sure the story will stay with me a lot longer. In addition, Concejo has created amazing illustrations to go with Tokarczuk's story, and I had to go back and flip through them a few times before I could put the book down.

A short fable for adults on regaining lost soul! The stars are mainly for the illustrations...Oh, such brilliantly evocative ones those are!
