Reread Review:
This is honestly the book that got me hooked on alien romance, and looking back at my pass review, I did not give this book as much credit as it deserves. There is so much to love about this book! From the world building to the romance to the Sizzlin' spice, everything was just so well done! I also forgot about the bits of humor that were woven into this book as well! I'm convinced that Ruby Dixon is a creative mastermind. Her books just always deliver! I honestly loved this book just as much, if not more the second time around than the first time I read it. I think having read alien romance for a couple years, it gave me a better appreciation of this book than the first time, when I was just dipping my toes into the genre. If you read this book and loved it, I can tell you the rest of the series is just as excellent as this one!

First review:
This book is somewhere in the middle of the road for me. It was so random, the girls in this book just accepted their fate about not returning to earth with little remorse and it was very explicit. The main character also bugged me for just how flippant she was about things. However, the author set up a world that was easy to imagine and was very clever in how she set up communicating with a language barrier. She also definitely set this book up for potential with an interesting plot to follow.

Look, I now understand the obsession. Am I probably going to read the remaining 50+ of them? Maybe! But who are you to judge me!
I read this as a joke, and I am both shocked and embarrassed to say that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. A lot of the potential issues (language barriers, surviving on an ice planet, etc) were resolved in a way I agree with. Some of the background was violent, rushed, and unnecessary - definitely check tws for this one. Also if you're reading this review please never talk to me about how I read this unless you have also read it.
