It's one of the earlier books, so is more sexist and the characters don't know each other as well, but still makes for a good read.

Easy read. This book was borrowed from a library outside of my library network, so I had to get it done in seven days. I was able to finish it in two.

Great read.

As always, Clive delivers an exciting read penned in a simpler time. It was a great escape for a hot summer day.

I enjoy these books the way I enjoy potato chips. It's hard to get past the sexist crap, but I keep reading them.

Simple storyline yet the action description is really good.

Actually in reading the earlier works I find the style and the way the story is set up is very different from the latter versions. Nevertheless, I like the tie in with the History of the Second World War. Other than that its an interesting concept with the smuggling and switching of ships.

Nevertheless, a good read.

Definitely not my favorite Clive Cussler novel. My favorite? Sahara.

Another Dirk Pitt adventure, an earlier novel of the series. I love the relationship of Giordino and Pitt and their banter. The novel was an easy read and good. The plot was easy to follow and I figured out some of the key points beforehand but still nice to read.
