I liked the writing style and loved the secondary character, especially Stanton’s older brother. I'm not a huge fan of kids in romance books, but thankfully, Presley only makes a few short appearances. I loved that Jenny and JD were not made out to be villains. But
Stanton Shaw's character ruined this book for me. He was an egotistical, selfish, toxic as hell ass. Who, in my opinion, does not learn a damn thing in this book. Sofia Santos is a driven and strong woman with little to no self-respect. It is the writing style and secondary characters boost this to a 3-star instead of a 2-star. Borrow from your library before you decide to buy.
