Exactly!

I loved it. I’ve felt the loneliness and exhaustion. It was funny and almost real. Loved the almost real happy ending.

i Definitely enjoyed reading this book! I have laughed at Ashley's failures and understood her state of mind. The book so beautifully depicts the state of mind of a stay at home mom, and the author has managed to make it funny. Was a good read and a good laugh.

I will preface this by saving I still love bunmi laditan, and her blog etc. however this book didn’t work for me. As a mostly stay at home mom-I appreciated the general theme-however I think it just pushed the mommy wars harder-despite it’s goal of “everyone is in the same boat”. I skimmed the end to finish, but I just didn’t enjoy.

Didn't like the main character. Really struggled with how negative she was. She does grow and she does have a happy ending. It is funny!

This was a laugh out loud adventure through new motherhood -- a great read.

I think I would have liked this book more 7.5 years ago when I was a new SAHM mom. The underlying story here is very relatable but the rest of it is just eh.

Fun, a bit slow to start and not fully what you expect though. And a little too tied up for me but an enjoyable read.

I wanted to love this book. I adore the Honest Toddler twitter feed created by the author and I had high hopes. There were a few hilarious moments that made me chuckle but I actually almost stopped reading several times. The main character was so obnoxious. She seemed so selfish and self absorbed that I wasn't really sympathetic to her at all. I say this as a mother of three young children.
