I guess I don't really like chick lit that much. I felt like I spent the day watching a trashy show, not reading a book. It's not bad, for what it is.

Light, witty, and amusing. I found the main character very funny at first, but by half way through got tired of her extreme, repeated irresponsibility and flightiness. But she redeems herself in the end.
Felt very much like Bridget Jones's Diary even though they were published to close together to influence each other. I guess it's just a take on that classic love story. The leading character is quite vibrant, thought I would see a denouement a little earlier in the book. Glad I read it, wonder how the movie turned out.
Kinsella also does a good job of capturing addiction.

This was a funny and quick read, but I could have done without the transphobia and xenophobia. I also thought the resolution with Luke was really rushed.
Babe, you are in debt!! Honestly, I loved her delusional thinking. It was kind of interesting to read this book in the era of “girl math” and similar trends.
