I'm just speechless at the level of emotion this book brought out in me.... it's running from my eyes as I try and write. I was so invested in Ice and Rae from Captured and it only got more real in this book. I keep hearing the old Nazareth song "Love Hurts" inside my head and truer words have never been spoken. There was so much pain to get to the pleasure in this book, but love did win. This is a must read book 1 and 2 if you are a lover of raw and real MC novels.

I may be a little angry at the author. Because...... I can’t just move on to another book now! How am I? This book is too good and I have to wait a few months for another dose of this awesome but tragic family that is the Horsemen MC...

Loved this book immensely

Raven Amor knocked this one right out of the park!!! I waited as patiently as I could for this book to come out! We pick right up where Captured leaves off...***YOU MUST READ CAPTURED FIRST***
I will say this book is darker and grittier than Captured. My heart hurt so much for Rae. She has been through so much already in her short life, but she makes a decision to save those she has come to care deeply for. I rooted for her through the whole book, and am in love with the strong woman she has turned out to be. Now Ice, Ice I wanted to throat punch a time or two. Well he isn't the only one, but he would be the first in line for the throat punching. I will say he does make things right, but it was touch and go for a while for me. Now I am going to end my review right here, because I am afraid I am going to let some of the juicy details slip and I do not want to do that.

I had never devoured a book so fast as I did with Claimed. I have been dying to know the answers to so many things that happened in Captured and my mind is literally blown. I was down this rabbit hole that the author created. The raw pain and emotions coursing through both Ice and Rae is so intense that you feel it just bleed off the pages. Seeing what these two go through and how they fight back, oh my stars, my heart hurt so much. But their connection is something for the ages. It is deep, passionate and so much more. Honestly there are no words to describe the love that these two share.
With every twist and turn, my heart was in my throat. How Rae fights, how Ice is dying to find her. How this all implodes and is something so much bigger. I have rarely found a book that consumes me like this duet has. If you haven’t read Captured, do so before you touch Claimed. You need to know it all, as it is a complete duet. All I can say is this duet is hands down one of my tops reads of the year. It was so unique! I highly recommend it if you are an MC lover!

Raven Amor does it again with Claimed. The Duet to Captured *must read* is filled with so many emotions. Anguish, love, pain, sadness, you name it its in it.

What Rae and Ice had to go through had me crying through most of the book. Not just a few tears, I'm talking full on water works here. I had to stop a few times to compose myself so I could read again.

By the end of the book they grew so much stronger as a couple. They are now my favorite book couple to date!

You will not be disappointed in this book when you read it. Now go on, go and read it.

The author includes a warning that you need to pay attention to, just like the first book.

Rae starts the reader off where Captured ended. So, to follow the story properly don’t start here. It would be like cheating and reading the ending before you even start the book. Previously, I felt that the emotions were very raw compared to a lot of the other MC reads that are out there and I feel the same here. The rough and violent life portrayed also continues.

Some of the author’s words, and scenes, may be hard to forget. I made a note to self, don’t read this before going to bed. There were just certain things that happened that I didn’t want to carry over before closing my eyes for the day – what nightmares are made of. Our author knows how to write evil very well.

For me, it seemed like our author wrote this story for Rae. Even though we get to hear from Ice, and he shows us how much pain he is feeling, Rae is at the center of what is going on. It was nice getting to know some of the other members briefly as well but it always came back to our main characters. We get to meet someone new and I’ll be interested to see if this person makes appearances going forward – just one more reason to keep following the series. Ms. Amor seems to be building steam as each tale comes out.

Our author still creates people that you wouldn’t want to meet in a dark alley but the story itself will grab your attention. There just never seemed to be a good, even while reading the bad, spot to let the story go. If you have the time, this could be read in one sitting. But once again, I’m left wanting more and not happy that I have to wait in order to find out what that more is. However, I know that it will be worth the wait.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
