You'd think the amount of issues dealt with in this book would make it tedious or over the top but no - it's a page turner (or whatever the audio equivalent is)!

So how does a 17 y ear old boy come to terms with the fact he now has a daughter, and has to look after her without the mother? I really liked how a household of seemingly disparate people turned into a family although it did get rather harrowing along the way. Malorie Blackman doesn't shy away from tough issues and manages to write about them in engaging and exciting ways with jolly good stories.
