Words of Radiance, Part 1 and 2
I loved every single chapter in these 2 books. I thought Way of kings was too long, had some pacing issues and annoying parts. But Words of Radiance? Perfection.
I loved every single second I spent in this world this time. The characters and their arcs, the plotting, the atmosphere and world building. Everything just felt right. And maybe this is still a little too long, too much happening, but I wouldn't want to miss any details here. And the reveals and conclusions, even the obvious ones, were so satisfying. I was pleasantly surprised by the character dynamics, especially between Kaladin, Adolin and Shallan. This could have been so annoying, instead it was fun and nice and emotional. I fear it will not stay this way, but I have hope.
Also, can we appreciate the illustrations? I have theories based on these drawings alone! They add so much to the world building.
