-brothers way too caught up in sister's love life / virginity
-almost comically casual mafia violence
-grand total of like five make outs

-immediately in love with older man that she grew up with after 2.5 kisses
-only becoming bf/gf AFTER the declaration of love

Love all of Mary “ Tuesday Embers” books . She is amazing ! I was immediately drawn into these books and the families in the story . We meet the O’keefes , the Irish family and the D’Amatos , The Italian family .
Fallyn has moved back to her home town on the east end ( Irish territory) and her 7 brothers and her Head of the Irish Clan daddy who has dementia . The brothers are super protective of their baby sis and will do anything to anyone who gets in the way . The family is know for Their harsh tactics , crime , and illegal businesses, but w Patrick O’Keefes minds slipping from him , oldest brother Killian is in charge of the family and cleaning up the family act .
Fallyn is a baker and opens a family bakery , ran legit ! , in the “ neautal “ territory of the two clans , because the west Belongs to the Italians , and with Papa D ( head of the Italian family dead ) brother Vince D’Amato runs things and is trying to legitimize the family as well .
Although both family’s have problems they both want clean and safe neighborhoods but also will not tolerate or take any shit and will shoot ya if needed .
One weakness they share now :
Fallyn !
Vince begins to fall in love with her and she is starting to share the same affections , but they cannot let their families know !!!
They sneak around and try to maintain neutral business relationships around others .
All kinds of drama leads to many things . I highly recommend this series !

DNF..... I'm sorry I really liked the summary but I just couldn't get into this book, partially because I was confused as to who of H of this story was!

Fallon and Vince are very, very cute together. I love how this book combined a snarky, cool heroine and a strong, hardened hero. Not to mention some of my favorite tropes - forbidden love and older brothers - plus a helluva lot of humor. Despite never having been in her situation, I could relate to and admire Fallon. And I was practically in love with Vince. Plus, with that ending, how could I not read more? This book is the first in a trilogy about Vince and Fallon. I look forward to reading more of it. 5 stars.

James is a more better option for Fallyn
Vince is pushy, doesn't really take no for answer, even worse he cheats on his gf with Fallyn, the list goes on
it felt like I was reading Romeo and Juliet except, at the end, they just un away from their families and let's not forget that the fmc always wanted to own a bakery shop, which did happened but now its all ruined because of some family feud so I feel bad for her

Notes:

The tail end was a little too over the top for me but I do like Fally & Vince. Onto #2!
