reflective fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character

La veo desde dos puntos de vista:

Totalmente recomendable

Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Yes

This felt like it had so much potential as a concept, but it was very evident that it was an unfinished work even with whatever editing/polishing was done. Also, finding out that the author wanted the manuscript destroyed and definitely not posthumously released, and the kids did it anyway and this now has the legacy of being his "final" work... probably should have listened to dad tbh.

A curiosity rather than a revelation. For completists and students, maybe.

Finally, I'm so happy to read this.

Surprisingly unoriginal, and would be disappointing whoever was named on the cover.

Time is a cruel mistress.

The writing was almost as bad and the plot/message almost as meaningless as anything from Paolo Coehlo, and that should say a lot.

Spaniards and latinos, stop this sex + feelings drama bullshit, get some help!

This is a perfectly imperfect book! It is a short and uncomplete novel, the last marvelous writings from Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Although it was his wish that this book be destroyed, I appreciated reading this grand writer's last attempt to remain one of the best writers from his genre. I loved this story and this specific quote, "Then she made herself comfortable in the bed without changing or switching the lights, and cried herself to sleep furious with herself for the disgrace of being a women in a man's world."
