The amount of times I wanted to shout “GIRL GET A HOBBY.”

But for real, it’s been a while where I’ve read a book purely because the writing style was so good. Really itched my brain in a way most books can’t.

Interesting but ultimately unmemorable story. Pleasant writing style but way too many uncomfortable comments (and tbh overall characterisation) of women and/or poc and their bodies.

If the author himself said this should be destroyed and never published, maybe we should have listened idk, although I don’t hate it. I’m probably only giving three instead of two stars because I’m biased due to the author’s success though. Edit: 2 stars is more accurate. Maybe 2.5 ⭐️

Such an ugly cover.
