I could feel the love emanating from this book. I have no qualms; only wish there was more of it. And that I could have such records of conversations with my ancestors.

Format: Audiobook

Note To Self: Do NOT read this before work again, you will be a red-faced blubbering mess.

I went into this audiobook knowing nothing, seriously nothing. I didn’t even realize it was a memoir until the author introduced himself. I had just heard it was really good & since it was relatively short, I decided - why not!

This was SO touching. It really made me think about the things I value in my life, and it was a great reminder to make sure to LIVE. Sometimes, we all need to learn how to just stop & appreciate the world around us. Make connections with those around you, pay attention to the nature surrounding you. Life is short, remember to love.

I loved this book - and so thankful it was recommended! A reflective and heartwarming reminder about what is important, and to be kind.

Is is a bit cheesy at times? Yes. Maybe even repetitive? Sure. But that doesn't take away from the fact that I shed multiple tears in the Thursday morning I finished it.

Such a sweet and heartwarming read. I'm glad the author didn't go the self-help route so you can really feel the rawness and authenticity Morrie was going through with how he perceives death. I am also lucky to have a teacher who believed in me and my potential and I hope other people gets to have that as well because the mere fact that someone outside your friends and family genuinely believes in you and what you can do feels so fulfilling 🥹
