For a novella, this was actually a pretty cute story.

Claire and Connor have a one night stand that turns into three nights when they get snowed in together, and despite how quickly they find themselves falling for each other, they know it can't last because she's moving to San Francisco as soon as the roads clear.

For ~70 pages, the plot was pretty well done. I thoroughly enjoyed both characters and their banter, and the HEA at the end was short and sweet, just like the novella itself. I definitely would've loved a full-length novel of them but their story worked well with the limited amount of pages.

Good gracious! Jessica Joyce does it again, but this time in 78 pages!

She had me sucked in right from the start. This was a perfect little novelette!

I have really low expectations for novellas because how are you honestly going to make me feel something in 78 pages?! This one did. I loved this story. Probably one I'll come back to. Maybe it's because I relate to where the FMC is at in her life, but I really enjoyed it. Time to dive into the rest of Jessica's catalog.
