بدأت قصتي مع هذه الرواية منذ قرابة شهر بدأت بها ونظرا لسوداويتها الشديدة ولأني كنت أستطلع رياح الطاقة الايجابية في فترة الامتحانات توقفت عن تكملتها .

بعد انقضاء الامتحانات عدت لها مرة اخرى لأقرأها من البداية وبتمعن
تبدا الرواية بهذا البطل القابع في قبوه المظلم مكنا كل الحقد والكراهية للعالم الخارجي والبشر جمعاء
كائن مريض بكل ما تحمله الكلمة من معنى
في هذه الرواية تجدنا ندور في طيات عقله المريض وافكاره الكارهة للبشر
لا أنكر أن هذا الاغراق في نفسية البطل دون أية احداث جعلني أمل الرواية في بدايتها
لكني ومن بداية الصفحة الخمسون شرعت ألتهم الرواية حرفيا
في النهاية كانت تجربة جميلة ساظل متأثرة بمكنون الرواية لفترة اعتقد بانها لن تكون قصيرة أبدا

‘crime and punishment’ and ‘white nights’ were preferable for me. i love those books a lot! so what went wrong here? i have no idea. perhaps i should have went with a different translator.
