A very fun and informative retelling of the Greek myths as told by Stephan Fry himself. The author describes how he took the myths and gave there his own spin while staying true to the stories themselves.

An incredible undertaking.

Stephen Fry breathes life into these many myths, giving the characters dialogue and making these numerous stories much more digestible for the reader. What could have been a very meandering and confusing book was as concise as it could be considering the large subject matter. The audiobook is narrated by Stephen Fry himself which I enjoyed immensely.

Highly recommend if you love mythology and history, he weaves the two together through out the novel.

I absolutely and indisputably adore this book. I have been a huge fan of greek mythology since I was a little girl and this book just reinvigorated this love for the greek myths and stories. The way Stephen Fry writes is so fun and inviting and I definitly recommend this book to people that no nothing of greek mythology as well as those that already love it. The structure of the book makes it so easy to go on a journey and discover these stories that have been part of our history for so long and the honesty with which Stephen Fry portraits them is second to none in my opinion. And for an added fun there are two sections in the book with diverse works of art that enrichen the stories you read simultaneously. This is by far one of my favourite books of this year and probably of all time.

I am disappointed but I think it has more to do with the way I read it, all in a row. I think it would be best to read a myth a read or day
