These books are good. Odd and creepy enough for children who are into that kind of thing but not enough to give anyone nightmares. Great reading material

I read this with my niece and nephews. ❤️

I really disliked these kids. Their parents kept saying they were 'competing' all the time, and to a degree they were but the sister who owned Slappy was a little bit psycho with her pranks and they both really needed therapy for their jealousy. It took 80ish pages for the actual Dummy to come to life and by then the sister had played too many pranks (that kitchen one mainly) for me to care what happened to them.

Great as always. I was such an R.L. Stine fan when u was younger. And he didn't disappoint even now that I'm in my 30is.

I really struggled with this one. It made me feel blah.
medium-paced

So after watching the new Fear Street movies on Netflix I decided to read some of the Goosebumps books. I didn't read them as a kid but I thought it might still be fun and I wasn't wrong.

If you're going into these hoping for a super complex, scary book, you obviously won't get it. They are written for children, that is the target audience, but it was still so much fun and I've got to admit this was pretty creepy. I think this would have terrified me as a child.
