Lots of great essays, I read them quite slowly as reading about all the challenges queer  communities face worldwide was a little difficult.  I would have loved at least one more essay on something ace related.  The collection featured a diverse collection of writers and it was interesting to get to read so many different perspectives.

I really enjoyed this book. It collated many of my most favourite LGBTQ+ voices as well introducing me to those I will now be so grateful for having encountered. It is a pretty emotional and focuses on what struggles we face as a community but by doing so it is hopeful as awareness can lead to change. The last section about community and organising is the uplifting and hopeful reassurance that the awful things described earlier can be changed.

It took me a long time to read but it was worth it. A fantastic range of essays on queer liberation; from queer-centred care homes to asexuality celebrations to rethinking and remaking what it means to go on a Pride march in light of corporate input. 

I will definitely delve into the other works by the authors of this essay collection.
