this book was very suspenseful and it makes you think that everyone has suspicions of being the bomber. however, the ending was not as climatic as i hoped and character development was not as great.

The characters are great. The plot is well developed and the book was well written. I love how it kept you guessing.

I liked how the characters struggled together. They could have developed the relationships a little bit more. 93

An incredibly mediocre novel aiming to explore and break common stereotypes in society. The vast amount of novels surrounding school shootings and bombings is astounding and this one wasn’t special in any way. It was quite easy to predict the outcome of the novel and as fantastic as Joelle Charbonneau wrote her other novels, this didn’t meet the bar. From rookie mistakes such as calling AP U.S. History, AP American history, to describing and telling us the characteristics of each person instead of showing and allowing our imaginations to flow, this novel bled mediocrity in every way whatsoever.

I found this predictable and slow paced.

I’m a sucker for a disaster survival book. I liked the way this story played out and while the “twist” was a little stupid in my opinion it’s still something that would have been difficult to guess far ahead of time. I really enjoy the fact that things didn’t just “work out” for everybody in the end.

It’s taking so long to mention the characters and their backstory I am getting bored. They’ve mentioned the backstory  of not even all the characters and they haven’t even got to the point of the book yet.
