OH MY GOD

MY HEART. THE ANXIETY.

I have not flown through a book so fast. I accidentally saw a spoiler on Google asking 'do Aurens ribbons grow back' and I JUST KNEW it was going to happen in the book. Every moment Auren broke the rules my heart clenched in fear. When it finally happened my chest hurt.

Applause to the author for making such a good fucking villain with no chance of redeeming himself. I hated that man with a passion.

OH AND SLADE/RIP.

"But I'll be the villain for you. Not to you."

///////

“I can’t.”
“You could,” the old woman retorts, glaring at me with her hands on her hips and a scowl beneath her thickly arched brows. “That’s your fear talking, and it’s a weakness that you have to shove down before it towers over you.”
........“Though, it seems to me that trying and failing is better than giving up.” Her eyes scour mine like a soundless lecture. “Shove down weakness, and strength will rise. You can’t be strong without conquering those weaknesses first. That’s what I think, anyway.”

That's it. What a fucking Rollercoaster. I need some time to calm myself before starting the next book.

Going into this book we find out Rip and king Rot are the same man. I thought maybe it would take another book before we got to see them fall in love and finally give in to each other. Finally she came to him before she lost him. I was not expecting the twist at the end it got me because the extent of the deception and the lies that all came out.

I can’t wait to see where this story goes. ❤️‍
