it’s almost a transcription of the movie, there are quotes that are directly derived from the movie. this book gives us a more in depth perspective on neils relationship with his father, and the way the men in this institution approach the idea of women.
I think the book was quiet well written, but there were just too many (unnecessary) characters as Metts and Pitts. The plot was rather good, especially the ending was heart wrenching. If you like poetry and a dark academia vibe, than this book is the definitely a read for you!
It also helped me get out of a small reading slump due to its short length and a fast pacing story :)
