داستان خوب و روونی بود. فقط از جسارت نویسنده خیلی خوشم اومد. آخر داستان وقتی اون اتفاق برای نیل افتاد اونقدر برام عجیب بود که تا چند دقیقه دهنم باز مونده بود. و آخر داستان هم تلخ بود ولی خوب بود. شاید بخش شعر خوانی ها، چون داشتم ترجمه شعر رو میخوندم و به عقیده بسیاری از افراد شعر ترجمه ناپذیره، اونقدر ها لذت نمی بردم. اما به هر حال حرفای کیتینگ گاهی خیلی شیرین بود. میتونم آرزو کنم ای کاش همچین معلمی می داشتم.

NglI did almost cry at the end, even though I knew what was coming
Beautifully but simply written, a solid adaptation from a screen play, even if it does miss a few marks. All the characters are characterised well, would recommend.
(You can't help but read Mr Keating's lines in Robin Williams' voice. That role was truly written for him!)
I have to say that this was pretty mid. The plot seemed rushed to me.Like the title the book is very pretentious and trying to be deeper than it really is
it was... short. the subject was quite familiar, but the ideas were not very well connected or exploited. with another 100 pages the ending would have affected me a little, but now i barely remember the names of the characters. pleasant to read although it could be much better. i have the impression that i only read the summary of the actual book. let creativity work, don't rush it

This book is an exact rewrite of the movie, with, what I think were cut/edited scenes added. The writing was so poor (direct matter-of-fact retelling of what the film showed visually), that all I was looking forward to was any kind of new information. Though it’s really clear why some of these scenes were changed. The writing/story wasn’t restructured in a way that might make this enjoyable to read as prose and somehow this version made the characters feel completely shallow.
