I love this book!! As someone who has tried running a few times and always given up, this has encouraged me to try again and stick with it 💕💕
Like several other reviewers, I didn't find this inspirational I'm afraid. The result was more a resigned shrug about the fact I don't run a marathon every other weekend. Some interesting testimonials from other runners but little here that I found useful.
An inspiring look into running, from being a "useless" beginner to running 100 marathons whilst still actually being slow. The idea that the whole thing is about comaraderie and health rather than competition and personal bests.
Chock full of inspiring stories and testimonies too, from enthusiastic amateurs to world-renowned athletes. Worth a read.

Good book, the pacing is sometimes a bit of, but I thourougly enjoyed listening to it.
It’s about Lisa bad her running journey and the people she met along the way :-) her message is : anyone can run a marathon. And if you’re thinking “no what about someone in a wheelchair “she has stories of a blind person and people with physical disabilities in her book !

Really loved this book, it’s motivated me to try and get back into running, for the first time in 20 years.
I found this really motivating. I am running the London Marathon this year and wanted to read a book to help me prepare. This did the job.
